Some of you may already be aware that Doyle McCormick's Alco PA project has its own website at www.nkp190.com. There is also an e-mail service that provides periodic updates and photos. They are busy harvesting parts from a wrecked BCR M420 B unit to make "NKP 190" an operable unit again. The link below is of Doyle among a maze of electrical cabinet parts.

WOW! When you see that photo and think about all of the components that this mighty beast one might think it will never work. We do know that this old Alco is in good hands and if anyone can do it Doyle can.

Yes, the parts keep coming from that old carcass of a B unit. The WABCO brake unit, equipment rack, and air compressor are waiting for a dry day to be installed in the carbody. The prime mover is planned to be installed very soon.

Anyone in the market for a bridge made of a locomotive frame?
