So in relation to the early boxcab diesels (think CNJ 1000), there's been something I've been trying to find for a while. Drawings of the trucks. Near as I can tell they're a GE-designed truck, and look similar to some trucks that were used on GE electric locomotives of the period. But I also can't find a model number or designation. So where can I look? Is there a definitive text on the early boxcabs that might hold the answers? The information has to be out there, but Google is only taking me so far.

John Kirkland's Dawn of the Diesel Age seems to be a pretty definitive source.

Someone could probably make measured drawings from a preserved example. Then compare that with other historical or contemporary sources.
