Buster was a legend at Baltimore Streetcar Museum. I attended a private event on Saturday where almost all of the cars in service benefit from his skills as a craftsman.

Buster was the consummate gentleman, one of those key people who seemed to lurk in the deep shadows and come out when needed, like many a "hero" of rail preservation. He was usually buried deep in the back of the carbarn doing carpentry work, but could be found running streetcars, doing electrical work in the Visitors Center, helping others research solutions, whatever needed to be done. It's almost impossible to look around and find something in the BSM's collections and facilities that didn't have his fingerprints on it.

It's going to be hard to imagine the place without him.
