611 is going back to Virginia. Strasburg Rail Road has schedulled 5 days of farewell trips: Excursions May 20, 21; May 27, 28, 29. May 29 is 611's 73rd birthday. In-cab experiences May 19, May 26. https://www.strasburgrailroad.com/611-experiences/ They're expensive, but "A significant portion of the proceeds benefits the Virginia Museum of Transportation as they continue its mission to operate, preserve, and maintain the Norfolk & Western Class J No. 611."
