Post subject: | Caboose Stoves |
The museum I am affiliated with has several caboose's that have fuel oil heaters in them. The brand of stove is "Vapor Cabin" we have no manuals for these and the instructions on the stoves themselves are not readable. Anyone know where part and manuals might be found. They still make all sort sof things, incluidng small steam boilers (their Vapor-Clarkson division mande most of the stema generators found in Geeps, E units, F units, PA's, etc.). Don't know if they still support the stoves you refer to (which were also used in bunk cars, shanties, etc.), but a search of the Thomas Register ought to get you a contact phoine number and or address for them. |
