Saw a post on FB regarding a structure fire in Building 6. *edit: Looking at the original source for the post, it appears to have been an electrical fire with no damage to equipment. Maybe the museum will post something tomorrow? |

In a comment on his blog, Randell Hicks reports that: “The damage to Barn 6 was fortunately limited by the quick response of the various fire departments, but it will have to be repaired before the barn can be opened to the public again. I don't know how long that will take.” and also mentions that the damage to cars in storage was limited to cosmetic soot. The remarkable operation of 70 electric cars is planned to continue on July 1. And the electric car shop heated extension is continuing nicely. https://hickscarworks.blogspot.com/?m=1 |
