I am looking for examples of good design for websites to promote a locomotive restoration. What examples can you recommend?

The RAF Museum had an excellent online presentation of the conservation efforts of the Dornier-17. It looks like this can only be viewed presently via the Internet Archive at:

The website was important in following up on lots of press coverage of the aircraft's recovery while explaining that it would be out of view while undergoing to arrest corrosion. The online exhibit also brought in testimony from veterans, historic documents, and a detailed explanation of the conservation process applied to specific artifacts.
