Post subject:  Don Redmond's Passenger Cars

A man named Don Redmond from Bozeman, MT once owned a fleet of passenger cars for a proposed excursion service (predating MRRT/Montana Daylight), but nothing came of it. One of the cars was ex-SP 3/4 dome 3602, which is currently in Commerce, CA (according to Web Lurker's Dome Main on TrainWeb at least). The problem is, I can't seem to find any information on the other passenger cars that were on his small plot of land north of Bozeman, so I will need your guys help to identify the cars

SP 3602 was in Pasco WA around a month ago: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=47544

I found a few posts about passenger cars near Bozeman MT (using the search function above) but I don't know if they are what you are inquiring about:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=28391&hilit=Bozeman
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=18466&p=78523&hilit=Bozeman#p78523

Found this (and an obituary from 2003) doing a general search on DuckDuckGo: https://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/d ... 0ef89.html

and this, they apparently partially burned in 2005, two years after his death: https://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/n ... 5a36f.html

My take: it looks like all cabooses, and less of an excursion project and more of a hoard.

SP 3602 was moved from Commerce at the end of March, bound for Oregon for a rebuild and restoration; I believe to the Oregon Rail Heritage Centre but am not certain.

Notice that 'Web Lurker's Dome Main' hasn't been updated since about 2010, yet the site is still active so someone is paying its bills. ?????

I raised an eyebrow at some of the links on that page.

The author of the Web Lurker's DOMEmain site (Phil Dohmen, as I recall his name) passed away several years ago. The site remains in place frozen in time from then but still is a good resource.
