Online reports are indicating that the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Railroad Historical Society has sold its long-owned Reading FP7 #903 to SMS Rail Lines for use on their Woodstown Central Railroad. Joining her will reportedly be FP7 #902, last owned by the Reading Co. Technical & Historical Society; no report on whether it has been purchased, leased, or whatever. Both locos have languished at Steamtown NHS since 2009, reportedly in need of wheel profiling before further operation. |

Wow, only $10,000 a bargain. But the buyer is a great one. Good to get them going. |
