Hello All, If there are some on this board who want a detailed introduction to a modern steam locomotive, here you go. https://youtu.be/Hszu80NJ438?si=X6a4XUI_twvXaXeT For you rivet counters, every nut and bolt may not be there but this person put a significant amount of work into this. Follow it through, the boxpok driver casting detail is pretty much spot on! Much of the world out there is getting so accustomed to 3-D animation, they take much of this for granted. This reminds me of the PRR T-1 animation which was even closer to a full fledged Solid Works or AutoCad commercial industrial CAD solids animation. 3-D can be wonderful eye candy, however the more detail applied adds a richness that can take it to a whole different level. I was not aware of boiler foam indication systems and spinning water separators. Interesting. All those stay bolts!…..oh my word! Sincerely, Randy Musselman |

Discovered this animation last week; very impressive. I wonder if any museums would consider this for an interactive, can you imagine a virtual reality application of being able to look inside an engine/freight car/etc.? Check the other videos on the channel out, you'll be glad you did. Joshua |

Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! I brought forth items that many overlook and take for granted without any appreciation for what those unseen components contribute to the overall functioning of the machine. |
