This Flickr shooter thinks it's ex-PRR, but who knows?

This PRR rail car could use some help. It is rusted through in what appears to be several places along this and the other side at the floor line. As a PRR fan, any information on the car would be appreciated and how it wound up in Goshen, Va. Appears it is privately owned.

Hello...
I think its this car....Was at the former PRR/NS yard at Little Creek in Norfolk.

At that time one of the older members of the Tidewater chapter NRHS owned it.
I recall the name of the car was Hazelton or something like that. They showed me
the inside of the car during a visit there. All the sections were gone but the drawing
room was still in the car. I believe it had been a 12-1 car.

As soon as I saw the name "Haselton" I said "that's it!" I'd seen the car several times over the decades on the Eastern Shore RR/Tidewater NRHS fleet.

From the first production group of heavyweight sleeping cars, built 1910 to coincide with the opening of PRR's North River Tunnels and Pennsylvania Station.

Probably owned by Will Harris (no relation) who owns a wood yard/sawmill and has other equipment in Goshen a favorite tubing spot for VMI cadets and W&L students.

As the Flickr member who took the picture, many thanks to the contributors who advanced my knowledge of this interesting piece of railroad equipment aka PRR PULLMAN Haselton located in Goshen Va. Appears to have been one of a number of fascinating finds there. After it's sale to Seaboard appears there were some twists and turns before it was used by the Tidewater NRHS group and restored to PRR colors and lettering for their use. It could really stand some TLC at the moment.

Just as an FYI, this is not some forgotten coach where nobody will see it and it will be forgotten...the track in the background of the Flickr photo, behind the coach (which can be seen on the right side of the photo) is the siding to Victoria Station in Goshen, where 611 and coaches (and vehicles for crew, passengers, etc) pass by as well. This isn't buried in brush off some forgotten siding somewhere. Hopefully this is owned by Mr. Harris or someone else for an eventual restoration (of some sort).

I asked Mr. Will Harris about this car. He said that it will soon be restored into a BNB that can be rented by the day or week by folks coming a distance to ride future mainline steam trips or who want to enjoy the nearby river and Washington National Forest.
