I'm hoping that someone here knows the identity of the 3' gauge 0-4-0 that is on display at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum. Here is what I know: Was an 0-4-0T - tank has been removed, diamond stack and (homemade?)tender added. One of the museum members seems to remember it came with some odd passenger cars, which makes me think it might have been used at an amusement park before moving to Gold Coast. It has a steel cab - very large with a very small window. Looks possibly homemade. Locomotive is not listed in Conrad's book. There is a converted 0-4-0 listed at Lantana, Florida, but the gauge is wrong. Any thoughts? Jeff Terry jterry618@msn.com |

According to the information I have, it is ALCO (Cooke) 63253/1922. It was originally Georgia Lumber #22, later Winston Co. #48.
