We have two ex-IC electric coaches that need window work. I like what the Durango and Silverton did to their coaches. It appears that they repaced all of the windows with a modern system. Any ideas on replacing the coach windows? The windows need to open and stay up. Thanks bassett@elko.net |

Ypou may find a manufacturer of aluminum sash who can build custom to your specs as screw in modular sash complete with latches. They will cost but will work well for a very long time. Making your own sash custom fit into the existing pockets takes a lot of time and is only as good as the quality of the craftsmen and materials you are willing to buy. Trade offs are in cost and historic authenticity. Do what you need to do. Dave irondave@bellsouth.net |
