Trolley Restoration Project update: The Jersey Shore Historical Society Board has voted to cancel the trolley restoration project.
It has come to the board’s attention that some necessary and expensive repairs are needed on the Samuel Moss House. The repairs include masonry and roofing work.
Since this is the case, the Board felt the need to redirect the funds to the upkeep of the museum building and its artifacts.
This was not an easy decision to make, but the priority and mission of The Jersey Shore Historical Society is to maintain the museum so that the history of Jersey Shore may be kept alive.
