Over on the narrow gauge forum it's been reported that the White Pas & Yukon will be operating scheduled steam excursions for the 2024 season! Doesn't look like exact dates have been announced yet but this is great news. I've taken an Alaska cruise / Alask Railroad / VIA Rail trip the last couple of summers so I'm extra excited for this years trip. I'll be sure to schedule my cruise when steam is running. |

Here's the schedule - https://wpyr.com/excursions/product/steam-excursion/ It's a little pricey - $399 for the train one-way and bus back but I'm so excited that Steam has returned to this line. I've ridden a few times behind diesel and really hope I can plan a trip this year to experience this. |

So does the morning run take the train first then the bus back and the afternoon run you take the bus there and train back? |

Video of her steamed up in Skagway - I think it was a test run. Can’t wait to see her in person, I’ll have to plan a cruise that hits the right day. |

I suppose you could buy two tickets, and ride the train both ways. |
