The correct material that was standard for most of the industry in the old days is 50CMC Medium Twill - Transit Weave Cane Webbing.

This material was unavailable for some years but is available at this time and may continue to be if we order some soon. There is a single loom still in existence in China that can produce it.

It is available in 50 Ft. rolls: widths up to 24 in., $1.85/sq.ft., widths 26-40 in. $2.04/sq.ft. We recommend the following widths:

24in. $1.85/sq.ft. $185.00/roll

26in. $2.04/sq.ft. $222.31/roll

28in. $2.04/sq.ft. $238.00/roll
