Hi all
I am trying to do a complete Steam Locomotive roster on the Shortline of the Grafton & Upton RR,, located here in Massachusetts.
The roster is for my own records,, so far but I am stumped on one photo, that I will post...
The locomotive was the 3rd Grafton & Upton # 1 known as the
W.N. Knowlton...
Note the wheel arrangement a 2-6-4T
Because I could not find no information on the locomotive background I don't know who built it,,,,Baldwin???? or American Locomotive works,,???
The only information I have it was built in 1893 for the Grafton & Upton RR...
The boiler jacket looks to be a different color from the rest of the engine.
So I am asking the experts Who Build it????? Thank you as always Pat.

I see the answer was posted. However....

Most of the Baldwin Locomotive Works engine specifications records, 1869-1938, are available online through the SMU library. You can check there for that manufacturer.
