Sorry for the delay in updates recently but family comes first...
The heat and humidity has been bad this year preventing from our usual busy summer work days. We have managed a couple of days that has allowed us to accomplish a few things off the To Do list.
First up was the final install of a replacement tender light thanks to Don Totten at RMRS for the donation of the light! I am sure you will agree it looks great!
With the help and donation of plexiglass panels , we were also able to get the cab infomation cards for this Locomotive reinstalled in the cab.
Lastly, we managed to clean down and repaint the Engineers pilot truck with one coat of black paint so far. Overall the condition of both trucks was not too bad and it was deemed unnecessary to strip them to bare metal at this time .
