Wow, great question. There was a rumor that it went to Ohio, but unconfirmed. A guy named Dale Suitors, not sure of spelling, was involved in putting that deal together as I recall. He was some sort of broker. Perhaps that might help. |

You might contact Mark Milbourne at the Doe River Gorge camp. I don't think he knows, but he might know someone who does. Very little is left of the Hillbilly World info. If JR May doesn't know (see his comment), then I am not sure who does!! |

It has been suggested that this is the Pine Creek #2: https://bridgtonrailroad.org/our-collec ... ya6i4eBlsw Somehow it ended up at Edaville? Then Maine? The hoods are not correct, neither is the cab. Judging by the spacers under the radiator, its been re-engined. No way to really confirm without the builders plate in the cab, although there may be a Plymouth number stamped in the back of the transmission as well. It was a neat engine to run, quite fast really. Had a great sound. J.R. |

Different front windows, hood, etc. And yes…that was a great little engine when it was at Pine Creek. Keith |

Per those who were there for the loading of the GE, Dale Suitors, the broker, was the one said Plymouth #2 was going to Ohio. Dale died some years back. History of the #2 per the Plymouth all time roster is: c/n 3750 Built: 4/26/1934 36” gauge Model: DLC-6 Climax TU 65hp B 8T Kelley Island Lime & Transport Co #2, Gibsonburg, Ohio New Jersey Museum of Transportation, Pine Creek RR #2, Freehold, N. J. Interestingly, Kelley Island also ran a huge number of shays. Had several Plymouths as well. Not clear as to when Pine Creek acquired the #2 off hand, certainly before 1963 as it was the first locomotive to be moved to the new site at Allaire State Park. |

I have found a couple of other sources online (so take it as you will) that do state that the locomotive in Bridgeton is in fact ex-Pine Creek #2, but as of typing I have not gotten %100 confirmation from the museum of whether or not their loco is the one I am looking for.

Keep in mind that the Pine Creek #2 was a DLC-6. The B&SR #9 is shown as a DLH-8. Again, the hoods and cab are wrong, but could have been changed. Key is the c/n number, which we understand may be stamped on the back end of the transmission if the builders plate is missing. |

If I am wrong about which Plymouth is now at Bridgton I would like to know. Both Plymouths #2 & 3 were at Edaville in May 2000. |
