I drove through Altoona yesterday and noticed that GG-1 No. 4913 was no longer residing in the yard area at the Altoona Railroaders Memorial Museum and was nowhere to be found. Where did it go? |

Where did it go? It has been moved to make space for the construction of the roundhouse. It was moved into the Juniata Shop area. If you go toward Juniata on Chestnut Avenue and look to the right you should see it next to the shop. altoona_east@railfanusa.com |

Post subject: | Where is PC 3931 *PIC* |
What is the current status of PC 3931? This car was removed from the property about two years ago to make room for the construction of the walkway. I have heard reports stating that is has been scrapped, or that it is currently owned by Jeff Pontius. Is the museum disposing of any other equipment? Many Thanks, Tom Cornillie For more information, please visit my website PRR Passenger Car Search ![]() rrhistorian@hotmail.com |
