Recent threads pertaining to "movie trains" got me wondering about the upcoming Ted Turner production, "Gods and Generals". The preview to this film shows vintage equipment in action. Anyone care to guess (or comment on) where it came from, and what it was? The link below is to a site created by a civil war reenactor who "worked" on the film. Looks like some humor was applied in the right places however the view of the box car looks like a real prop department job. lamontdc@adelphia.net |

I believe a depot shot was staged on the "First Mile" at the B&O Museum with a prop station that was up for about a week and then taken down with B&O #25. > Recent threads pertaining to "movie > trains" got me wondering about the > upcoming Ted Turner production, "Gods > and Generals". > The preview to this film shows vintage > equipment in action.
