Remember the Gordon Lightfoot song, The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald? "Of the big lake they call Gitchi Gumee" Thecar was built in 1923 as Mountain View, a 10 Section Obs car; rebuilt in 1937 to an 8 Section Restaurant Lounge, flowed to Nickel Plate Road in 1948 but became Office Car 7 in 1950 when new 5 DB Cafe-Lounge cars arrived. |

Not only is the car named after said Club, but I saw a comment the other day from one of the car's now-prior owners (which I can't find now, of course) where he said that they were given a full set of china from the Club to use in the car. |
