Early in the week, the 'old' big lathe, "puff" broke down, so the apron was removed to repair some problems. Some half-nuts had been installed wrong.
Steve and Tommy got her back together.

Orly, Ducky and Jose continued on welding up and grinding pedestals on 488.
Rob statrted on a new gear for the wheel lathe.
Ed turned two journals on 487 #4 and polished one.
Started turning the second tire.

Faced two new piston rods and started turning one of them.

Ricky got all Crown brasses removed from the boxes, started inspecting boxes to see which ones will need machinging with a slotter.
