With the recent move of Soo Line # 2425 to the South Fork Scenic Railroad for a possible restoration, what is the story about the M&NF # 14? Or did I miss that?

I'm unsure what BSFS will do with the 14. It's still in Ravenna IIRC

As far as I know, #77/#14 remains in Stearns. As far as I know, whatever parts that have been shopped that can be used will be used in the "new" project. I don't know the future of the locomotive.

I've been told from a pretty reliable source that the tender that was built during Scott Lindsey's tenure working on the #77 is going to be paired with this new engine as its tender is reportedly a rusted through hulk.

#77 last I heard got shoved to the back of the diesel shed as Crossroads Railcar pretty much fills the whole of the old steam workshop building now. At best they could put it back together into the semblance of a locomotive and paint it in Tombstone Junction colors stuffed and mounted on the property somewhere. As big as an embarrassment as the whole project turned out to be, what little is left of her will probably be kept hidden in the shop and they just hope everybody forgets about it.

Also heard they looked into getting K&T 10 back but TVRM gave them a solid no.

Did Big South Fork even get the 2524's tender? I know when Clint Jones purchased it from Ironhorse Railroad Park, he left the 2524's tender right there, because it was in such poor shape.

The 6910 is in pieces is it not? Whats the TVRM gonna do with it let it rust in piece?

Just a quick mention before K&T 10 becomes its own subject, TVRM does plan to cosmetically restore the locomotive and display it at Grand Junction, but is behind TVRM 610 in terms of projects
