Can someone share an all-time roster of trolleys owned by Edward Blossom? I believe he used to be employed at the defunct Magee Museum in Bloomsburg, and later "set up shop" at Dushore, Pa., under the moniker of the Dushore Car Company and then at Topton, Pa., before relocating to Electric City Trolley Museum in Scranton. Kurt, I still have that Guide to Museum and Park Dispalys that I mentioned the other week. I'll see what I can photocopy for you. What other museums was Magee involved with? I just found a post card of a stagecoach; labeled Magee Transportation Museum. Ted Miles ted_miles@nps.gov |

I believe the only cars that Ed actually owned were the three cars he donated to Scranton. (perhps he "owned" cars while he was active at Branford, I don't know) The Rio open car, Philadelphia 2282 and C&LE 117. All three of these were at Bloomsburg and I am guessing that he purchased them after the flood at the subsequent sale. I think Brooklyn convertible car 4550 is in the story somewhere as I believe it was at Dushore for a short time before going to Station Square in Pittsburgh. Don't know if Ed ever owned it or was to work on it. The 4550 car is now in Middletown, PA. The Magee Transportation Museum had a collection of cars, sleighs carriages and many other old items.
