No, not a verboten 4/1 prank. Also not physically present, unlike other PRR classes that made it there on trackage rights. However, it was in an "interest" piece in the Wilkes Barre Times Leader in December 1942. Closest thing i've seen being shown off in WB was one of the LVRR's streamlined Pacifics. |

In retrospect, I guess it didn't actually go to WB. I notice they're still thinking in terms of "dreadnaughts" in 1942. Phil Mulligan |

It wouldn't be long in 1942 however, before it was realized that carriers were going to be the preeminent instrument of naval force projection. |
