Last night I was heading down to Cape May, NJ on the 55. After the five-five ends it turns into the 47 and right at the 347 by-pass split there it was. The "Little Depot Spot". Heavyweight car of I have no clue origins. Maybe someone here has seen it before. It appeared to be under new management then I had saw before. Not quite open yet either. Anyone? Sorry I don't know the answer to that one Jeff... But as long as we're back on this subject, I came across this recent addition to our "diners club" a few weeks ago. This car has been cut up, and assembled into a "Y" shape. I get a sharp pain when I look at this. It's located in Baker City, OR.  SJHussar@aol.com |

Fort Washington Exit, Penna Turnpike follow directions to Ft.Washington Expo-Center (where they hold the train meets) Don't know street names, but, you will pass a SUBWAY, in what appears to be a B&O obs. Car is entirely in red primer, but truck frames have B&O initials. |

speaking of railroad style dining. The illinios railway Museum was goiing to do an on site restaurant using part of a 1940s diner sort of patterned on a railcar. I don't think the diner was a rail car; but has anyone heard about the project recently? Ted Miles ted_miles@nps.gov |

Chattanooga Choo-Choo Corporation has two eating establishments housed in rail cars at the former Southern Railway Terminal Station in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The stainless steel dining car houses the "Dinner in the Diner" restaraunt and a remodeled heavyweight coach houses the "Cannonball Lounge". I don't recall the heritage of either car offhand. awalker2002@comcast.net |

Found another one I don't think has been mentioned: Stevens Point, WI. The Silver Coach Restaurant (I think that's the name) on the north side of HWY 10 in Park Ridge (a suburb of Stevens Point) about a half mile or so west of I-39. This is the Soo Line sleeper Glen Flora, which was built in1903, retired in 1933, and used as a restaurant ever since. After decades of being covered over with various types of siding, the current owners have restored it to a somewhat original appearance.
