Here is a photo of an engine numbered 3 ahead, #1070, looks like a Belpaire boiler. According to the RRPA roster here all the engines in this series would have been 0-8-0's, converted from 2-8-0's, with some from Richmond and some from Pittsburgh. https://www.rrpicturearchives.net/locoL ... =BO&Page=2

PMC - Thanks for that photo. I looked on that "rrpicturearchives" website and found a shot of another engine from that same series (number 1045) which was taken from the engineer's side. Everything pretty much matched up with the subject painted engine # 1067. Even the "OHIO" size lettering was a match! Les |
