the Railroad in Guatamula would like to know where it can get pads for 4.25 x 8, 5 x 9 and 3.75 x 7 journals. They are still using cotton waste on their heritage steam equipment.

The company they need to contact is Unity Railway Supply in Bensenville, IL and the product is "Journapak" Journal Lubricators. For the past year the machine used to make the pads has been broken but they have a new machine with expected delivery sometime in March. I just contacted them in regards to 4 1/4 x 8 dry (they come in both dry and pre soaked) for a project I'm working on and they quoted $26.83 each under 40 and $23.33 over 40. See link below.
