Long overdue, but the compilation of historic single car test codes published by HRA predecessor TRAIN is now available on the HeritageRail Alliance website: https://heritagerail.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Single-Car-Test-Codes-for-Historic-Valves.pdf. These are the codes needed if testing "historic" car equipment with an OEM manual device; that is, D-22 or older passenger valves, and K or older freight valves. These codes represent the latest revision for the respective valves/systems they cover.

Note that the above compilation does not include the quarterly calibration test for the passenger device. For that (as directed in section 2.4 of the compilation) one must reference the APTA passenger single car test codes: https://www.apta.com/research-technical-resources/standards/passenger-rail-equipment-safety-standards/apta-pr-m-s-005-98/. The original 1998 version is the latest revision of the code and the quarterly test for the non-Flowrator device. Revision 4 is the latest revision of the code as a whole and covers the quarterly test for the Flowrator equipped device. (Aside from the quarterly device tests, note that the APTA code is applicable to 26-C or equivalent equipment, only.)

The historic codes are also available individually on the APTA website.
