This is either from someone who’s names and location have changed to protect the parties involved or a parody of certain people in the railroad preservation community.

"There is something wrong with railroad preservation. I went to the Craggy Mountain Line in North Carolina AND THEY HAD TWO NEW YORK CITY SUBWAY CARS! This has nothing to do with anything from North Carolina. I even heard a little kid say it was cool at which point I called him stupid and said Santa wouldn’t bring him presents and he ran off crying. I blame his millennial parents for not teaching him to enjoy trains the right way. Since that subway does not belong there people are wrong for enjoying it even though it came in good condition with next to no restoration work needed no one is allowed to like it. At my museum we only preserve things that are relevant to [Local Belt Line railroad] or that board members like (I know our 2-4-2 steam locomotive was like nothing [Local Belt Line railroad] had but it could have been.) Even on RYPN I see fools talking about saving Acela trains and F40PH locomotives THOSE ARE NOT OLD I REMEMBER WHEN THEY CAME OUT AND I AM NOT OLD I JUST BOUGHT A SPORTS CAR. It should only be saved if it is from the good old days when certain people knew what entrances and water fountains to use. A railroad museum needs to run choo choos either being steam or claped out switchers pulling depowered Budd cars or striped out Lackawanna MU cars. A certain railroad museum in Connecticut has even gotten ex SANTA FE Hi-Levels. THOSE NEVER RAN ANYWHERE NEAR THERE. So what if the public will enjoy them and it will allow for a unique riding and dining experience the public will be ENJOYING TRAINS IN THE WRONG WAY. And don’t get me started on a Trolley Museum in Maine having dinosaur days. DINOSAURS AND TROLLEYS WERE THOUSANDS OF YEARS APART! I need to stop typing my blood pressure is getting to high and my wife Barb just called me into the living room to watch Wheel of Fortune.
-God Bless"

The scandal is that YOU think there are right and wrong ways to enjoy the subject matter - steel wheel on steel rail.

Does nobody recognize parody anymore?

I thought it was funny.

That reads like if Cheeto Truthed about a RR Museum.

I don’t think it’s parody. I’ve definitely seen people who have issue with family events like dinosaur days and such like that.

The overwhelmingly huge problem with satire in 2025 is that the internet has made it possible for what was thought to be only satire to be revealed as, in fact, factual even if the intent was solely satire.

I've lost count of how many times the well-known right-wing satire "news" site The Babylon Bee has run satirical stories that ironically proved to be prophetic a few months later.......

All that said, I have no clue if the OP is satire or a repost of a real warped complaint.
