This was an article out of the Christian Science Monitor in Nov. 1946 which was reprinted in my hometown paper's Editorial page. Thought it an apt informational piece for this group.

I've been restoring an Australian-built, late 1880s-design Pullman sleeping car for 25 years and it's still not finished.
These cars only ever had numbers, but one of my mates reckons we should break with tradition and use the old Pullman method and call this car "Persistence"!
