Any chance the Durbin Climax engine would ever make a guest appearance at Cass? It's not too far way.

Given time, the Durbin folks want to rebuild the line to Cass--but I would expect 10yrs or so before this happens. At the moment, Durbin's trackage is completely isolated from everything.

As Kev points out, it is isolated and for that reason, the Durbin operation is run, I understand, under a state boiler certificate and is non-FRA. If and when it does connect with Cass, then the Durbin folks are looking at all that wonderful Part 230 work, etc.
