Does anyone know what the IRM will operate on the Showcase Weekend coming up? Their website doesn't have this years' schedule on it. I am looking to make a family visit on either the 20th or 21st.

Thanks. Chris.

On their homepage look under "Upcoming Events" on the right side of the screen. The link there lists everything currently scheduled to operate that weekend.

Actually, nothing has been posted yet on the IRM website. (To my knowledge, and I just looked)

Baring any mechanical issues, I'd expect the following equipment to operate:

This is at best, an educated guess, until the website is updated, or an official statement is made.

9911A and the Nebraska Zephyr (both days and Saturday evening)

Frisco 1630 with coach train (both days)

C&AE woods on Saturday

CRT wood cars on Saturday

Illinois Terminal train Saturday evening

North Shore train Saturday evening and Sunday

PCC "L" cars on Sunday

C&NW Bilevels on Sunday

I would look for other equipment to be out and about during the day, and probably a diesel on the Coach train Saturday night, perhaps MILW 37A

IRM members with higher knowledge than me, feel free to jump in.

Don't quote me on this, but I think Frank and I finally twisted Randall's arm enough that the CA&E woods may run on Saturday night. That's at least the plan as of now. I'll be a conductor/trainman on that train all afternoon and evening. Stop by and say hello.
