Post subject:  Abandon grades in/around Bozeman, Montana

Looking at a Terraserver view of Bozeman, Montana, reveals a number of abandoned RR grades snaking through the city and environs. One for example curves gracefully through the northeast part of town and continues north-by-northwest along the Bridger Range foothills. Is this the old Milwaukee Road line? How did the little Gallatin Valley Electric Railway [interurban] course through town? Between Bozeman and Bozeman Hot Springs are several grades which twist and turn in the Hyalite Creek drainage, going nowhere in particular. Whose were they?
