The NTHP's website "Preservation Online" has featured the B&O Museum story in the "today's news" section. A link to the roundhouse restoration fund is included in the story.

One could read this site for hours, and it is sobering to note the many other types of preservation projects that are struggling for funding and against apathy and greed. Whereas much of the junk we have collected is semi-moveable, most buildings are not.

A note about this site. The stories featured on the "todays news" page only stay there for a day or so, at which time they are moved to the archives. They might be persuaded to re-post the story on the "preservation 911" page, where it could potentially last for weeks. An event of this magnatude certainly qualifies.
