The move of the old Yakima NP turntable was completed on February 8, 2003. Special thanks to the BNSF for donating the turntable and then the transportation to deliver it to Toppenish.
The move consisted of five cars with the 115' bridge centered on one 55' flatcar and idler cars under each end. Other components were placed on the free ends of the idler cars and on two other flat cars.
The turntable is in storage in the museum's second yard until funding for the reinstallation is in place.
