From this Greek steam website: Lots of information on U.S.Army Transportation Corps operations and locomotives from WWII. Photos of derelict USATC locos in Greece also. Also noted here that Milwaukee Road shopmen in the Railway Shop Battalion assembled several Kriegsloks at Kassel, Germany from spare parts after the war.
