We're not a model railroading website, but sometimes work is just too impressive not to mention. Take a look at this company's upcoming UP 4-12-2 in O scale: Lots of history and photos, both of the prototypes and the in-production models. You'd need a gymnasium to have curves large enough to run it (an adaptive use for that empty school building or abandoned K-Mart?), and the price, well, if you have to ask, you can't afford it, but mighty impressive anyway. http://www.kohs.com/UP%20type%20pages/UP%20type%20home.htm ryarger@rypn.org |
