Probably about 20 years ago, I recall several McDonald's outlets here in Ontario used to have old cabooses (mostly ex-CNR) on site, used for children's birthday parties etc. They all seem to have disappeared now. Anyone know what happened to them all?

Thanks.

There are several at McDonald's in Oklahoma still in service, McAlester, Stillwater and Tulsa that I am aware of. The Oklahoma caboose were either Santa Fe or Mo-Pac. Drake.

There's also an ex-B&O wood caboose (not unlike the one damaged at the B&O museum) used a playplace in New Martinsville, WV. The CSX main runs right between the McDonald's and the Ohio River.

One ACL cab was rescued from McDonalds and is now at the Savannah roundhouse.
