Caboose kits?

A friend of mine told me that at one time there was a company that produced kits for a full-sized bobber caboose. Not that I can afford one, but I'm curious if this kit is still available, what all it includes, and what it costs?

I remember and add that ran in TRAINS in the early to Mid-1980's about that kind of a kit. Seems to me they had one dressed-up as a Colorado & Southern Hack or something. Seems to me it was actually based on something like a handcar chassis. I'll try and dig it out and see what I can find.

Matt, all you need is an old freight truck or some Carter Bros parts and a home depot nearby. Lots of drawings are available from old Model RR magazines.

No, it wasn't us, but if someone wants a kit for a 10 ton or 15 ton flatcar, we could put one together... We could probably do a boxcar as well.
