Anyone seen anything on the status of UP's Steve Lee? Last I'd heard, he had had bypass heart surgery and was recovering. That usually means disability on the railroad. ryarger@rypn.org |

Steve's been back at work since November, I believe. Doing pretty well, apparently the Form 4 on his new flues got approved by the FRA and he's good for 15 years (his joke, not mine). Got a note from him the other day that if all goes as planned, he'll be out on the road with 3985 quite a bit this year. UP hasn't announced a schedule yet, but I'm guessing it won't be too much longer. JAC |

No firm word yet, but Mr. Bromley on Trainorders.com has hinted that this summer's schedule will by pretty extensive even for Steam Program standards. Let's hope so. |

Don't worry, you won't have to shovel (that's why we have student firemen!). Kevinmccabe@Avenew.com |
