Tweetsie Railroad in Boone, North Carolina is in the process of a class five overhaul of the ex-USA, ex-White Pass narrow gauge Baldwin 2-8-2 Number 190. She is a McArthur<br>built in 1943. Tim Smith, an employee in the Tweetsie shops, is documenting the overhaul.<p>We are very pleased to host his documentation on our website. We will update it every week or so to let you see the progress in a real working steam locomotive shop. Go to our homepage and scroll down to the bottom. Click on the picture of 190 to go to the pages.
