>The F-9 that was used in Montana is ex-NP 7012A built in 1956 and donated by BN to the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad. The waterbased paint used plus artificial foam snow did not come off the engine with just water pressure. At the movie company's expense it was sand-blasted and repainted to original scheme. steamrr@mashell.com |
