I was up there awhile back and was very dissapointed in the condition of 75% of the collection. The engines inside were in nice shape and G-5 #1201 was out in her barn out of view.

Everything else railroad-wise painted a very clear picture of a museum without the funding or resources required to manage all its pieces.

As a national collection, the condition does not do Canada justice.

Haven't several pieces been moved to other Canadian musems for care and display?

This is great news. Do you have any pictures to share of the current arrangement?

What changes allowed for the imporved storage? Volunteer efforts? Grants?

That's a GMD diesel hydraulic unit that never sold, ending up as the plant switcher in London.
