I was recently told that there are 2 small steam locomotives at a tree farm somewhere near Black Earth, WI. I can't find any info on these engines, and a drive through the area yielded nothing. Anyone know anything about these locos? Thanks Boyd ddg14@attbi.com |

I live in Mazomanie, just west of Black Earth. Do you have any info about what tree farm they might be in? I personally have not heard anything about steam locomotives in this area, but that does not necessarily mean that they do not exist. Unfortunately I don't have much more info. I was told by an employee of Wisconsin Power and Light that he had seen two little steam locomotives on a pine tree farm near Black Earth while he was doing some work in the area a few years ago.
