Old RR PR films

Not sure if this link will work, but if it does, here's a whole bunch of old railroad promotional films that can be viewed or downloaded off the internet:

The transfer to the net makes them jerky, but the sound is normal. Fun to watch and nice to remember that the railroads once believed in themselves, before the ax-swinging idiots took over management reins.

Here's a more generalized transportation category, which includes films about streetcars. The one steam listing seems to be about steam-powered vehicles in general, not just locomotives.

This one deals mostly with the Wild Wild West TV series and the Great Locomotive Chase Disney movie.
