The Mid Continent Railway Museum has finished putting a time line of the organization's history with its ups and downs on their website.

More of us should do this! Shows that railroad museums are more than overgrown kids playing with trains. Especially this one with strong regional theme and wonderful wood car collection!

Mid-Continent's timeline is a result of the hard work of Jim Neubauer compiling all of the information from past editions of Mid-Continent's Railway Gazette. I can only imagine how much work it was, but the result is well worth it.
It would be great to see other organizations do the same, if they have someone as dedicated as Jim to sit down and put together all the information.

Ted: It is our museums 15th year at North Judson coming up this June and we had decided to include a timeline in the museums June newsletter. I will have to check the Mid-Continent site now for ideas. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
