I realize this poor thing has a good coat of paint on her, but who are these dorks who insist on painting up steam engines like circus clowns. Frisco 1527 in Mobile, AL is another prime example. Frisco 1501 in Rolla, MO suffered through one of those for a while, but looks good now.

The numbering job on the tender screams for proper stencils. A little red goes a LONG way on a steam engine that does not have Chicago & Alton origins. But, like Don, I'm glad that she's getting some attention unlike so many of her park engine siblings.
