Post subject:  Long Bell No. 4

Long Bell Lumber Co. No. 4, an unusual 2-6-2 (said to be built as a tank engine) used at Tennant, California. Engine was acquired by Gene Autry and stored at his Melody Ranch for years. Now owned by Fred Kepner and stored derelict in a field at Merrill, Oregon.

The Long Bell Lumber Co. No. 4 now owned by Fred Kepner is stored on a siding at Holly Sugar Receiving Station, Merrill, Oregon.
